Now Hiring: Electrical Engineer/Designer

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Designer/Engineer who enjoys both design and construction stages of projects to join the McCrone team in our Annapolis office.

The candidate will be responsible for the design and preparation of electrical contract drawings and technical specifications, review of construction shop drawings, field investigation of electrical construction, electrical calculations, and development of control system schematics. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the design of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and instrumentation & control implementation.

Responsibilities of this position during the design and construction phases of projects include:

• Power Distribution, Motor Control, PLC Control System, Control Panels, Lighting, Facility Conduit and Wiring Design
• Schematic and Logic Development
• Knowledge and Implementation of the National Electric Code
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Facility Construction Document and Shop Drawing Review
• Facility Testing and Startup

As a successful candidate you should have:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Industrial Electrical Design, preferably in water and wastewater application
• AutoCAD experience.
• EIT or FE license preferred, with the ability to obtain a professional engineer’s license.
• Project Team experience.
• Quality focus with attention to detail.
